The “best of” issue of this exceptionally rare lesbian newsletter published in Iowa City. The publishers, The Lesbian Alliance, formed “to meet the political, cultural and social needs of lesbians”; the organization sponsored dances, concerts, coffeehouses, workshops, softball games, and picnics as well as counseling and support groups. Essays featured focus on the lives of lesbians in prison, discussions of sex positivity and defense of sado-masochism in the lesbian community, and more.
