Pamphlet promoting a little-known and seemingly short-lived feminist commune in California, formed as an “older womyn’s community.”

The pamphlet promotes the vision for this particular commune and makes repeated spirited requests for funding: “We are in danger of losing the land if we do not receive another $41,500 by September 15.” Tipped in is an additional fundraising appeal, printed on bright red paper.

We find little record of the commune; likely the project was unable to secure sufficient financing. A document of the challenges of utopian community building in 1970s feminist communitarianism.
