Freedom Press was founded in 1886 and has run continuously for nearly a century and a half as a publisher and bookseller in London, and for many years published Freedom, the only national anarchist newspaper in the United Kingdom. The quarterly journal includes numerous themed issues on topics such as feminism, crime, health, education, and censorship.

OCLC locates three holdings of individual issues, and only a single issue located in North America as of January 2025.
