The anniversary party was held at Studio 54, on May 19, 1983, featuring performances by ManParrish, Project Nebadon, Madonna, and others. The poster's artwork was made by Terry Jones, the British graphic designer best known as the co-founder of the iconic British, street-style magazine i-D in 1980.
