Post-Situationist flier detourning the original Alien film poster from that same year, created by the group Collective Inventions.

Given a supposed copyright of "1979 Twentieth Century Fix," the flier bills for the stars of the movie the classical Marxist concepts such as Wage Labor, Surplus Value, and the Alienated Self. The reverse side of the flyer contains a scathing review of the actual movie, Alien; the authors also invite readers to respond to their analysis.

The flyer was reprinted and modified twenty years later for the Seattle anti-globalization protests by placing the legend "Smash TheWTO [World Trade Organization]" on the front cover. In this latter incarnation it received wide distribution in the Pacific Northwest and became one of the most visible graphics of the era's protest movement.
