Promotional photograph of Willy T. Ribbs, a professional sports car racer and the first Black person to qualify for the Indy 500 (in 1991 and 1993). Ribbs also made history as the first Black person to drive a Formula One car, though he ultimately did not drive in a Formula One race.

Throughout his career, Ribbs had difficulty securing sponsorship deals and was outspoken on his mistreatment at NASCAR. In 2025, Ribbs was inducted into the Trans-Am Series Hall of Fame.
